First, the operator starts the welding robot software and imports the workpiece 3D model (IFC, STEP and other formats are supported) in the digital twin system interface.


second,Workpiece positioning:

Method 1: Manual calibration; select feature points on the model, manually move the welding robot, and use the end of the welding wire of the welding gun to touch and locate the three feature points on the actual workpiece.

Method 2: Backing positioning; calibrate the mechanical positioning block in the digital twin system, and place the workpiece against the mechanical positioning block to complete the positioning.

Method 3: Contour light positioning; place the workpiece in the working area, and use contour light to scan the entire workpiece for initial positioning of the workpiece.

After positioning the workpiece, select Edit weld to complete the automatic matching of welding parameters, including welding gun posture, robot posture, welding process parameter matching, etc., and click to start welding when completed.

The set welding parameters can also be saved as CWPT (format) files and forwarded to any CypWeld system on site, so that they can be called for welding at any time.

In order to ensure the safety of welding robot before working, it is recommended to do a welding simulation in the software interface first. This process can check whether the welding gun posture and robot motion trajectory are optimal, and ensure that there are no errors before welding.

Click "Start" on the software interface, and the robot workstation will start welding. The operator can operate the next workstation.

Compared with other products, the welding process is very simple to operate. The arc can be started with a model, and the line laser scanning can eliminate thermal deformation and assembly errors, making welding more accurate.
