Based on the harsh and heavy load conditions of the crusher bearings mentioned earlier, it can be determined whether the self-aligning roller bearings need to be replaced from the following core dimensions:
Clearance and accuracy exceeding the standard
Radial clearance exceeding the original design allowable range, significantly reducing the rotational accuracy, and unable to meet the coaxiality requirements of the crusher rotor, which must be replaced.
Structural damage to components
If any one of the inner ring, outer ring, rolling element, or cage has cracks, notches, or peeling, or if there are obvious scratches, rust, or indentations on the raceway/rolling element, it is directly judged as scrap and replaced.
.Failure of key components
The retainer is severely worn, the rivets are loose, or the bearings show obvious creep, overheating and discoloration. The seals are severely damaged and cannot prevent dust from entering, and must be replaced.
. Abnormal operating statusDuring the operation of the crusher, there is a continuous sharp abnormal noise and vibration value far exceeding the normal threshold in the bearing area. After excluding lubrication and assembly problems, there is still no improvement, and it needs to be disassembled and confirmed before replacement.
.Forced replacement cycle
Under heavy load conditions such as iron ore, the cumulative operating time can reach up to 8000 hours. Even if there is no obvious damage to the appearance, it is recommended to perform preventive forced replacement to avoid sudden shutdown.
