The use of self-aligning roller bearings for agricultural machinery should focus on key aspects such as installation, radial clearance adjustment, axial positioning, lubrication, and maintenance. Specific instructions are as follows:


1. Installation method

Heating installation:

Heat the oil in the oil tank to 80 ℃~100 ℃ and stir, with the oil temperature not exceeding 120 ℃. Fully immerse the bearing in oil and maintain the oil temperature at 80 ℃~100 ℃ until the oil and bearing are at the same temperature. The heating and insulation time depends on the size of the bearing, usually 30 minutes. Clean the surface of the shaft, remove the bearing, wear insulated gloves, and directly place the bearing on the shaft. If the bearing cannot be installed smoothly in place, immediately remove the bearing from the shaft to avoid difficulty in disassembly.

Check the shaft accuracy and bearing temperature, and heat up again for installation.

. In addition to oil tank heating, equipment such as ovens, tempering furnaces, and inductive heaters can also be used for heating installation, but attention should be paid to controlling temperature and insulation time.

Tap installation:

This method is suitable for the installation of bearings with an inner diameter of less than 80mm.

. For small bearings with small interference fit, a sleeve can be used to support the inner ring of the bearing and the center of the sleeve can be tapped for installation.

Installation with a press:

Stand the shaft upright and clamp the lower part of the bearing installation position on the press chassis, so that the center of the shaft is consistent with the center of the press head.

Confirm that the head stroke can install the bearing on the shaft and press it into place.

2. Measurement and adjustment of radial clearance

Measurement of clearance:

The installation clearance needs to be measured at key nodes such as before installation, after heating installation, before installing the lock washer, when replacing the oil pressure nut with a lock nut, and after unloading the oil pressure of the oil injection pump.

. Use tools such as feeler gauges to measure and ensure that the clearance value meets the design requirements.

Adjust clearance:

If the specified installation clearance cannot be achieved, it is necessary to gradually adjust it to the specified installation clearance according to the regular installation method.

. For bearings with high load and high speed, the effect of temperature rise on axial clearance should be considered when adjusting clearance.

III. Axial Positioning and Adjustment

Internal Ring Pressing Method:

The tapered shaft can be directly pressed onto the bearing using locking nuts, end caps, end caps, or hydraulic nuts.

. The tightening sleeve can be directly pressed onto the bearing using a locking nut or hydraulic nut.

The removal liner can be installed by pressing the removal liner with a shaft locking nut or hydraulic nut to install the bearing.

Adjustment of axial clearance:

Adjustments can be made using adjustment nuts on the shaft neck, adjustment washers, and threads in the bearing seat hole, or by using pre tightening springs and other methods.

. The size of axial clearance is related to the arrangement of bearings during installation, the distance between bearings, and the materials of the shaft and bearing seat, and can be determined according to working conditions.

IV. Lubrication and Maintenance

Lubrication:

Select the correct lubricant, filling amount, and lubrication method based on environmental conditions, temperature, speed, and load conditions.

. Regularly check the quality and quantity of lubricating oil, and replace or replenish lubricating oil in a timely manner.

Maintenance:

Regularly check the operating status of bearings, including noise, vibration, temperature and other indicators.

. If any abnormal situation is found, the machine should be stopped in a timely manner for inspection and troubleshooting. During regular maintenance, pay attention to the discoloration of the rings, rolling elements, and retainers, which may indicate overheating or improper lubrication.
