What is power battery?
Power battery is a power source for tools to provide power, mostly refers to electric cars, electric trains, electric bicycles, golf carts, drones to provide power storage batteries.
Second, what is energy storage battery?
Energy storage battery is mainly used for solar power generation equipment and wind power generation equipment as well as renewable energy storage battery.
The battery
Third, the difference between power battery and energy storage battery
In terms of battery usage scenarios, batteries are classified into consumer batteries (consumer electronics batteries used in mobile phones, laptops, digital cameras, etc.), power batteries (new energy vehicles, light electric vehicles, power tools, etc.), and energy storage system batteries (power stations, communication base stations, etc.).
The power battery is actually an energy storage system battery. However, due to the limitations of vehicle volume and weight and acceleration requirements during startup, power batteries have higher performance requirements than ordinary energy storage batteries, such as high energy density and fast charging speed. The battery discharge current must be high.
Since most energy storage lithium-ion batteries do not require movement, energy storage lithium-ion batteries do not require direct energy density. Different energy densities have different requirements for energy density. It applies to scenarios such as power grid peak regulation, off-grid photovoltaic power generation, and peak-valley storage. In the conventional battery storage system, the battery must be continuously charged or discharged for 2 hours, and the battery pack with charge and discharge rate < 0.5C should be selected. In power frequency modulation or renewable energy, the battery of energy storage system needs to be rapidly charged and discharged within a few seconds to a few minutes, so it is suitable for power batteries above 2℃.
